Breakfast with a qualified chef. Well-run and incredibly friendly hotel with a very central location to Queen Street.

The rooms were airy with 2 queen beds, the staff was very attentive. The location was comfortable and unbeatable and the free parking was outside. We stopped by Toasted Espresso for coffee and treats, it was just a short stroll away from the hotel...

Well, the views were not so great here.

Sorry to say but did not experience the hotel manageress as very friendly or helpful in fact felt like she was irritated when asked a question; also saw and heard how she talked to a Chinese man which was unacceptable and rude. Other than that, stay was very good.

The security arrangement for late evening access was excellent.

The single room is brand new and comes equipped with cutlery, a kitchenette, and free Wifi, making it convenient.

Friendliness and helpfulness of staff. The room was very comfortable and well serviced. It was also within easy distance of Auckland and Devonport.

Our only concern was that it was hard to find a 'normal' supermarket....plenty of asian food outlets.

The room was a good size and had a nice airy feel, plus it had a bathtub for some relaxing baths! They also had a fridge, kettle, and toaster available, which was super handy. the service we received was top-notch, really impressed us.

Bathrooms and kitchens done up very nice. Bed comfortable and slection of pillows good. Nice and Clean.

The sofa's in the room downgraded the look from nice to budget. The colours let down the room cordination. Air conditioning would be good the windows let in little air and rooms get very warm (very hot in Auckland at nights). Carpets could do with clean.

Location: the hotel was just next door to the pub and shops / restaurants. The staff has always been extremely helpful, and the facilities were good.

The service here was good, the location is excellent, and the staff are friendly and helpful.

The spa bath was great, as well as the good pressure in the shower. The air con was also good. Nice stay all around.

All in all, spent my time lovely here. The staff was very nice when needed. The location was magnificent, not very far from Icon Park. There were all the main shops and supermarkets around the hotel.

The breakfast looked great and was prepared by a qualified chef. We loved the room with a comfy bed. - the hotel's location is ideal, being next to a bus station, business park, and a suburb with a strong Asian immigrant presence.
